The 2016 fishing season will be the seventh year that we have partnered with sport fishing lodges and guides to communicate directly with anglers about the important salmon conservation and restoration work that’s made possible through the Pacific Salmon Foundation - each time an angler purchases a Salmon Conservation Stamp they support us!

Thanks to our friends in the recreational fishing sector, last year more than $200,000 was generated for our work. We especially want to thank the many lodges and fishing charters in B.C. that have implemented a Salmon Conservation Contribution on their invoices. This approach provides an efficient way for everyone who benefits from salmon to also give back and support the fisheries that are so important to them. We know margins are tight, so we are particularly grateful for those lodges, guides and charters who have chosen to support us in this way. If you would like your lodge (or the lodge you visit) to implement the Salmon Conservation Contribution please contact Cory Matheson at cmatheson@psf.ca or 604.664.7664 (ext 106) for details.

We also thank the Sport Fishing Institute of B.C. for endorsing this program and for on-going collaboration to improve catch monitoring and conservation fishing practices in British Columbia.

Thank you to our partners!
