Postmark Brewing Launches Collaboration Beer with Pacific Salmon Foundation

Vancouver, B.C. – Postmark Brewing partners with the Pacific Salmon Foundation (PSF) to release the PSF Lager, a custom craft session style lager in a new silver 355ml can, along with draft kegs. ABV 4.7%, IBU 18.

“For Postmark this is a way for us to give back to something that we are deeply passionate about.bSalmon in the Pacific Northwest have been a big part of our lives here at Postmark; from growing up working in the sport fishing industry to spending all of our holiday time away from the brewery traveling the BC rivers and coast in search of them. The conservation efforts supported by the Pacific Salmon Foundation are paramount to BC salmon stocks and in turn is why this project is so important to us.” Co-founder Nathan Rayment

The Foundation raises money and makes grants to volunteer community groups that conserve and restore streams across the province. The Foundation’s Cory Matheson says: “Working with Postmark is an opportunity for PSF to raise money for Pacific salmon conservation efforts, but to also engage with and educate a younger demographic about the importance of Pacific salmon to British Columbia. Partnerships like this are crucial to ensuring we are able to support the roughly 350 hard-working volunteer groups across British Columbia in our shared goal of sustainable and diverse wild salmon populations for generations to come.”

“Sport fishing is a big part of our lives, and we believe Pacific salmon are the most precious resource we have. They are a huge part of communities on the West Coast and all around the world. I’m excited to work alongside PSF to help them expand the incredible work they do everyday.” Co-founder Steve Thorp

The Foundation already counts more than 50 different businesses from the recreational fishing sector as partners in conservation. Funds are raised through charitable fishing derbies, donations
to Foundation dinners and other fundraising initiatives. Postmark will also be approaching fishing lodges to stock the new beer, providing one more way that lodges can step up for conservation.
Partial proceeds of every Postmark unit sold will be donated to the Foundation. PSF Lager will be available throughout the province in private retail stores, restaurants, fishing lodges and at the
Postmark Retail store at 55 Dunlevy Ave, Vancouver in cans and growler fills.
