The Pacific Salmon Foundation’s Community Salmon Program empowers communities by encouraging volunteer groups who apply for grants to find matching local donations for projects. Community-driven environmental leadership is one of the pillars of BC Hydro’s Community Investment program. Since 1999, BC Hydro has donated more than $230,000 for initiatives that support community-driven salmon education, awareness and conservation.
