Globally, wild salmon face the rapid pressures of climate change, warming waters, and unpredictable flows. Locally, agriculture, logging, mining, and urban development are among a myriad of hazards that threaten their habitat and stability.

Pacific Salmon Foundation invests in studies on salmon, watersheds and the ocean environment to inform strategy within the organization and to support the decisions being made by other organizations and departments for the benefit of salmon.
