Bruce is a retired lawyer (BC, Alberta and England) currently living in Courtenay, BC with his wife Jean on Vancouver Island. During his working career, he practiced law in Vancouver with Russell & DuMoulin (now Faskens) and also worked successively in Switzerland, England, Alberta and the Bahamas for major firm clients. His legal focus was Corporate, Commercial, Banking and International Business Transactions. Bruce has extensive Board experience in working with numerous private and public organizations. Mr. Bell is the Past Chair of the North Island College Board of Governors and is a Director of the BC College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Since retiring in 2006, he has devoted his time and energy to supporting Jean’s equestrian ambitions, enjoying his six grandchildren, golfing, gardening, fishing and working with volunteer organizations such as PSF.
